Petition For A VOA Program In The Sindhi Language

My signature indicates that I strongly advocate for the implementation of the US Government’s Voice of America’s Sindhi language radio program that was requested in the December 2003 Congressional letter addressed to the Chairman of the Voice of America (VOA), Mr. Kenneth Y. Tomlinson.  This letter was initiated by Congressman Tom Tancredo and signed by many other Members of the US House of Representatives.  The Voice of America (VOA) currently broadcasts in 44 different languages around the world.  A program broadcasted in the Sindhi language can help bring Sindhis in Sindh, who are otherwise without access to international news, into the global discussion that promotes democracy and human rights.
