World Sindhi Institute Appreciates

Sassui Palijo's Support of the Planned Successive Rallies in USA and Canada

The world Sindhi Institute appreciates Ms. Sassui Palijo , MPA Sindh's recent  statement of support and endorsement of the rallies in north America, planned by the World Sindhi Institute. Her request to all Sindhi organizations and individuals to come forward and swell the ranks of the rallies are commendable.

The World Sindhi Institutes has always endeavored to work in conjunction with all Sindhi organizations, individual sindhis and supporters of Sindh. WSI believes that in unity we cannot be defeated and can send a clear signal to our oppressors.

We are confident that all Sindhis in north America will be cognizant that these are critical times. They will come forward and join the World Sindhi Institute, BSO-NA, Baloch International Human Rights and World Sindhi Congress joint efforts.

Once again we appreciate Ms. Sassui Palijo's supporting statement and invite her to herself come forward to participate in these North American Sindhi rallies.

Respectfully,

World Sindhi Institute

Sassui Palijo Supports Rallies

I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate and congratulate the commendable efforts taken by ?World Sindhi Institute? for arranging demonstrations in North America for a joint platform for the struggle against Kalabagh dam and the military operation against Balochistan. This is a very timely protest keeping in light with the current polarised situation in Pakistan with regard to the humans rights violation of the smaller provinces i.e.Balochistan, Sindh & NWFP. I encourage all the sindhis and other pakistani communities settled in North America to come out in support of this crucial protest that will no doubt initiate a change in the current conditions of the deprived & oppressed people of Pakistan. It is an increasingly popular stereotype that the blatant inhuman atrocities committed against the Baloch , Sindhi and other oppressed nations is a political issue being used to exploit to satiate political ambitions. I believe that nothing could be further from truth and it is genuinely an issue that requires a joint struggle on a common platform to condemn such human rights violation and something that needs to be condemned by all the moderated enlightened genuine well wishers of the people of Pakistan. I also would like to add that the real war against terrorism is the condemnation of such country dividing projects such as the kalabagh dam , the greater thal canal , the military operation against the Baloch and the oppression of the smaller provinces. Issues such as the glamorous kalabagh dam will lead to the genocide of millions of sindhis and Pakhtoons in t country and it requires a united front on behalf of sindhis and also those pakistanis who believe in the righteous autonomous rule of the poor masses. This is an opportunity for all the communities, religious sects , party affiliations abroad to come out in a common struggle against the tyrannies of the establishment and join hands. It is already being done so in Pakistan where regardless of any party affiliations or communal back ground, people have come together to free the oppressed from the tyranny of the GEN and the ruling Govt. and similar brave actions are required from everyone abroad.

I would suggest WSI/SANA/WSC to hold joint rallies against Kalabagh Dam and Balochistan military Operation.
