Baloch Society of North America (BSO-NA), Baloch International Human Rights, Global Pashtun Institute for Peace and Democracy, World Sindhi Congress, Friends of South Asia as well as many other Sindhi , Baloch , Pashtun and other concerned Pakistani and  international activists announce successive protest rallies in front of  Pakistan embassies and consulates in major North American cities to  register  their condemnation of  the military government of General Parvez Musharaff . We demand the restoration of civilian democracy  in Pakistan and an end to human rights violations and  the construction of mega dams on the river Indus WSI, BSO-NA, BIHR, GPIPD, WSC, FOSA condemn :

 

  • the ongoing military operation in Balochistan , the detention and torture of  Baloch and Sindhis and the exploitation of sindhi  and balochi  hindu and other minorities.

  • the decision by the military government to build the Kalabagh ,Bhasha or ANY OTHER MEGA DAM on the River Indus as this will deprive the people of Sindh of life giving  water
